F.A.Q. for Studio Rouchon
Rouchon Paris staff works to meet your needs as closely as possible and takes special care to meet your expectations for the best of experiences. Your satisfaction is our requirement.
TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR STUDIO RENTAL .
How long does the rental last?
Studios are rented for 10-hr slots (available between 7.00 am and 8.00 pm).
Planned overrun is non-refundable but will invoiced at a discount. Any unplanned overrun will be invoiced at the full rate.
Do you rent out equipment?
We own a large set of equipment and we work with several rental firms in order to handle your lists of equipment.
Should you not rent the equipment from us, we increase the rental fee for the studio by 100%.
Is bottled water available?
We do not provide plastic bottles.
Filtered water is available from our drinking fountains. And we have flasks for sale, provided by our partner GOBI.
Our coffee machines all use whole coffee beans.
What is included in the studio rental fee?
The studio fee comprises a studio assistant, classic French breakfast for 8 persons, a mini fridge, 1 iMac, 1 loudspeaker, black and white polyboards and cubes.
What are the start and end times for the rental?
The rental is deemed to have started with the arrival of the first person from the team at the studio. The rental is deemed to have finished when the last person leaves the studio.
RECEPTION AND DELIVERIES .
What are your opening times?
Reception is open from 8.30 am to 6.30 pm, Monday to Friday to handle parcel delivery and pick-up. Bulk deliveries (equipment, sets etc.) must be handled via Rue de la Cannelle, behind the studio. Door size: 1m80x3m.

How do I send parcels and where will they be stored?
All parcels must be clearly labelled, with the following information at least: name of production, shooting start date, Studio No. and name of the person the parcel is for.
Our shopping and parcel storage area is locked and protected by an infra-red camera.
ACCESS .
Can I park my car or van at the studio?
Cars may be parked in the car park outside the studio, provided reception has been informed.
Vans may park around the building on request (retractable bollards).
How big are the inner and outer doors?
Inner door size: 1m80 x 3m.
Outer door size on the ground floor of the studios :
> Studio 1 – metal shutter 4m60 x 3m35
> Studio 2 – door 1m72 x 2m93
> Studio 3 – door 1m48 x 2m44
> Studio 4 – access via a ramp with door 1m73 x 2m55
Do you have a hoist?
Yes, for access to the first floor. Hoist size :
> Hoist size : 1m x 2m40
> Hoist cage : 1m60 x 1m40. 2m40 high.
> Maximum weight : 1000 kg.
CYCLORAMAS .
What condition is the cyclorama provided in?
Cycloramas are supplied painted white and wrapped in brown paper. Cycloramas will be invoiced €6 before tax per square metre with the brown paper removed, to cover the cost of repainting and wrapping.
Can you paint the cyclorama a different colour?
We can deliver a cyclorama painted a different colour on request only, and further to an estimate, at the latest 48 hrs in advance, provided you supply the Pantone reference.
MACHINERY .
Do the studios have grids?
Studios 1, 2 and 3 are all fitted with a motorised grid. Rates and further information on request.
Do you have a scissor lift?
An 8m scissor lift is available for hire. At least one team member must have CACES certification. Otherwise, we can supply an operator.
COMFORT & COMMODITIES .
Where can our clients work and relax?
All our studios have an area for clients.
We can make a meeting room & a work area available for hire on request.
Do you have showering facilities?
A sanitation block and showers are available on each floor.
Do you have a smoking area?
We have a rooftop terrace and a garden for smokers. These areas are available to all.
CATERING .
Do you offer a catering service?
Our restaurant “Monsieur Jacques” serves a choice of several starters, main dishes and desserts every day. Our Chef and his crew craft the food from scratch using seasonal produce.
Do you have vegan and/or vegetarian options?
Our menus always feature a vegan and/or vegetarian option.
We can also draw up a menu according to your needs (a buffet, special diet menu, etc.).
Do you have snacks?
There are various breakfast menus and sweet or savoury snacks for breaks.
SETS .
Do you have wall panels?
On site, we have three sizes of wall panels available for hire: 3x3m; 2x3m and 1.5x3m.
They are delivered painted in the colour requested. Requests must be made at least 48 hrs in advance (reference Pantone).
Do you have removable platforms?
We can supply 1mx2m removable platforms the height of which can be adjusted in 20cm increments, subject to availability.
What if I need a very specific set?
We work with Set Designers for all specific requests.
SECURITY .
Is access to the studio monitored?
The Studio entrance has a secure hatch and several cameras film everyone entering and leaving. There is an alarm in each studio which may be used. We do not have a safe.
Do you have approval for working with luxury jewellery?
Studio Rouchon was audited by the Comité Vendôme and is compliant with the standards required by luxury jewellers.
Can our security guard stay late?
If a security guard has to stay after the shooting has finished, please inform the studio, a Rouchon Paris staff member will have to stay too.
