The current crisis is having an unprecedented impact on the way we work and has made it necessary for us to introduce a number of new hygiene and organisational measures.
As a studio that hosts photo and video production companies, Rouchon Paris takes its responsibilities seriously and has made the health of its staff and clients its number one priority.
To do this right, we have been working with occupational health experts, our industry federation, FICAM and all our staff to introduce a series of measures that will allow you to work with confidence and peace of mind.
Rouchon Paris is here to support you before and during your production with a comprehensive plan to ensure your project is a success.
SOCIAL DISTANCING AND OTHER PREVENTATIVE MEASURES
EQUIPMENT
Hand sanitiser gel, soap, paper towels and trash cans are made available to the teams on filming locations as much as possible.
Each member on the production team will receive necessary protective equipments (masks, hand sanitiser gel, visors etc.) when arriving on the set.
BARRIER GESTURES
The list of barrier gestures is presented on all documents distributed by the production and posted on walls of studios or others filming locations. Health and safety instructions are announced at the beginning of each shoot.
A distance of 1 to 2 meters must be kept between people as far as possible.
COVID 19 PREVENTION OFFICER
Depending on the nature of the production and the number of people, a Codiv 19 Prevention Officer will be proposed, guaranteeing in particular the temperature taking or the respect of the mask-wearing. This type of service will appear in the budget presented to the client.
PRE-PRODUCTION
Teleworking is the preferred option whenever possible.
Pre-production meetings, castings, fitting sessions, etc. are carried out as much as possible by videoconference.
Locations scouting and other travels are done with a reduced workforce and public transport should be avoided.
FILMING AND SHOOTING
The recommendation is to allow a minimum of 4m2 per person in the studio, except on set and in dressing rooms.
HYGIENE
Rouchon Paris ensures that hygiene and cleanliness protocols comply with sanitary requirements, whether filming in our studios, in another, or outdoors, with particular attention paid to circulation areas, toilets and contact points.
Virucide product and disinfecting wipes are entrusted to a member of the team to ensure decontamination of the equipment if necessary during the day, in addition to the protective equipment mentioned above.
OUTDOORS
In the case of filming in a passage place or in an environment open to the public, a security cordon and traffic cones are used to delineate the filming location, with the assistance of qualified security personnel to guide the public in maintaining social distancing measures.
TEAMS
ON SET
The number of people present on shoots must be reduced to the strict minimum, whether it be clients, the agency, talents or technical teams, to have only the essential members.
Each person expected on a shoot is contacted the day before for confirmation of the absence of symptoms.
The calltimes of the teams are spaced out as far as possible to avoid simultaneous and grouped arrivals.
COVID 19 INFORMATIONS
Before the start of any new project, participants are kept informed of the measures taken by Rouchon Paris to ensure their protection.
However, Rouchon Paris cannot be held responsible for the appearance of symptoms of COVID-19 after a production.
TECHNICAL AND GLAM TEAMS
Each member of the camera crew wears at least a mask. This rule applies particularly to teams handling equipment.
The model must dress alone or with a companion (for models under 16 years old). Clothing worn by a model are ironed before and after and cannot be passed from a model to another. The organization around the model(s) is reviewed to limit interactions to a minimum.
For the hair, make-up and styling teams, the wearing of a protective visor is provided, in addition to the mask. The equipment is disinfected before use when it is not a single-use product.
EQUIPMENT
Rouchon Paris guarantees the hygiene of its equipment or that of our rental partners. All lists of equipment are managed by our teams formed in hygiene and cleanliness measures.
The decoration and set design teams intensify the cleaning of accessories and surfaces throughout the production process.
ADAPTED CATERING
Sanitary measures have also been reinforced on the catering side.
Everything is provided in individual containers. Disposable and washable cups are made available to the teams. Teams are invited to bring their own water bottle.
Lunches are planned in the form of lunch boxes, to avoid any contamination and distances are respected with tables set up in staggered rows. Several services can be envisaged depending on the number of people and the space provided for catering.
POST-PRODUCTION
The post-production team prefers to work from home if an on set presence is not necessary.
During the post-production of a project, Rouchon Paris is able to accommodate a maximum of 2 people per control room. Wearing a mask is mandatory.
These rooms are completely cleaned before any work assignment.
REMOTE SOLUTIONS
Rouchon Paris relies on various remote working solutions. A way to transmit the information necessary to validate the stages of a shooting and thus to control the number of people present on the set or in post-production.
Depending on the project, these remote solutions are adapted and alternative proposals are presented.
IN PRODUCTION
A private and protected Zoom room, managed by a manager on location (Production Director or remote operator) allowing clients to actively participate in the shooting from several sources:
– a first source, a flying camera, necessary for the validations that take place before the shooting (styling, set design, etc.). When not in use, it is used to capture the general atmosphere of the set.
– a second that shares the work of the director or photographer.
For the photo shoots, the digital operator’s screen sharing on Capture One allows the photographer and the customer to validate the evolution of the shooting simultaneously.
For filming, the sharing of the camera’s workflow allows live validation of the sequences being shot.
A secure online access is provided for the sharing and validation of elements through our DAM or our video streaming hosts.
IN POST PRODUCTION
We invite as many customers as possible to validate the elements remotely.
When necessary, a private and protected Zoom room allows to apply modifications to video, audio or faking edits in real time. The different versions of the movies are shared on our video streaming hosts.
In photo, if necessary, the chromies are validated on the basis of control proofs delivered to the client.
